Kian graduated from the Sauder School of Business in 2003 with a specialization in Finance. He immediately began his career as a wealth advisor and financial educator. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Kian founded a financial education program called LunchMoney and to date has conducted over 100 presentations to organizations such as Metro Vancouver, City of Burnaby, District of West Vancouver, City of Coquitlam and some top engineering firms.

Kian is a founding member of Tax and Wealth and is a big contributor to changing the landscape of financial advice in making sure there is better integration between professionals and financial experts. Kian resides on the North Shore with his young family and is enjoying parenthood. In his spare time, he likes to run along the sea walls in both Downtown and on the North Shore.

Jack graduated from UBC in 1983 with a degree in Geology. Over the last 20 years, and with a passion for numbers and analysis, Jack has been working with individuals and business owners in optimizing financial management, retirement income and succession planning.

Jack specializes in developing advanced financial models for clients with complex financial needs. Jack is also a contributory member of Tax and Wealth Workshop Series that provides financial workshops to professionals and small business owners and currently offers seminars and workshops to APEGBC members.

Outside of the office Jack enjoys the culinary arts and has a vast and great selection of wines. He and his wife live in Vancouver where they enjoy travelling and outdoor activities.

Kelly has been a supporter of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada “Financial Literacy Program” and was responsible for the updating of the “Effective Tax Strategies” educational session. He is the only Canadian on the BKR Medical Health Industry Committee.

Is a former lecturer at the School of Chartered Accountants, Taxation and has served on the B.C. Institute of Chartered Accountants Taxation Committee and the Canada Customs & Revenue Agency Liaison Sub-Committee. Former chairman of the B.C. Institute of Chartered Accountants Public Practice Forum. Currently is one of nine members of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants Small and Medium-Sized Practices Advisory Group.

Lecturer and speaker on taxation and financial planning issues. He has been a panelist at the BC Money and Investment Fair, lecturer on taxation of older adults at the annual Prime Plus-ElderCare Conference and a CKNW-CTV tax commentator and has spoken at the Annual National C.A. Conference.

He has been the B.C. instructor for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants course “Developing a Prime Plus ElderCare Practice”. Quoted on financial planning and taxation matters in the Globe and Mail, Vancouver Sun, “Money Sense” and “Solutions” magazines.

Scott joined Lohn Caulder LLP in 2004 following completion of his studies in Financial Management at the Langara School of Management. He advises clients on a variety of matters including personal, corporate and trust income tax as well as estate planning and corporate restructuring.

Scott has been the U.S. tax manager at Lohn Caulder since 2008 and has extensive experience advising clients on U.S. individual, corporate, trust and estate tax matters as well as FATCA/FBAR tax compliance issues.

Outside of the office, Scott enjoys a wide variety of sports including rugby, hockey, snowboarding, and golf. He is also the Treasurer for the rugby section of the Meraloma Club, one of the largest and most storied amateur athletic organizations in Canada.

Richard has a long history in the practice of Real Estate and Wills and Estate Planning. With both him and his clients ageing (ageing is a better option then the alternative) his practice has become more focused on Wills and Estate Planning. He continues to advise his great team of real estate lawyers but has stepped back from the day to day practice of conveyancing. He also continues to speak to many community groups, media and corporations on issues related to real estate and estate planning.

Richard and Bell Alliance support numerous charities. He sits on the Board of the Arts Club and is an active supporter of World Housing, a charity that builds homes for the poorest of the poor.
